Meet Sommer, Our New Team Member!

One of the core values at our practice is democratizing access to good medicine.

That means sharing health-giving information freely wherever and however we can,

because we believe that

health shouldn't live behind a pay wall.

So, anyone who knows us knows that a lot of our time is spent creating free content.

Whether it's instagram lives, videos, articles, or blog posts, the health info we've shared over the past 2 years has been viewed hundreds of thousands of times all over the globe, and serves as a daily resource for the patients we see.

We're proud of that and now - thanks to Sommer's help - we're doing that in an even better, more strategic way.

So let's introduce you to Sommer.

Sommer is our new all-star Research and Content Strategist who spends her time figuring out ways to empower and educate others about their bodies, minds and spirits.

Sommer graduated from Sarah Lawrence College with a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies, and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree at Dartmouth College.

As someone with a background as a high school history teacher and head coach of girls varsity soccer, she is passionate about empowering people with the information they need to perform at their best.

Combine that with her love of research, passion for advocacy, and talent for writing compelling articles / posts, and she's a perfect fit for heading up the content and research arms of our mission to democratize good medicine.

We first interviewed Sommer about What Parents Can Do to Help LGBTQIA+ youth earlier this year in a video that many of you reported you loved!

After that, we knew we had to keep her on the team. Since then, Sommer's been quietly helping behind-the-scenes to make sure we create content that's useful, helpful, and fun. You'll see a bunch of it published over the next few weeks.
