We're launching one of the world's first powerlifting programs that combines fitness + mental health
for people of all ages, genders and fitness levels.
It's called
Freedom Barbell Plus.
The First Group Starts August 16th, 2022
in Exton, PA.
Powerlifting is Healing We've teamed up with Dr. Kresge of Kinetic Physical Therapy to create Freedom Barbell Plus: one of the world' first programs that combines the benefits of powerlifting + mindfulness to help set people free from anxiety, depression, and the consequences of trauma and mental health conditions. It does that by empowering athletes to become phenomenally strong, centered and skilled through regular powerlifting, mindset and mindfulness training in a safe and supportive community of like-minded peers.
We chatted with Dr. Kresge about the physical benefits of powerlifting here in this video a few months ago.
Freedom Barbell Plus Outcomes Freedom Barbell Plus athletes will
learn how to perform barbell movements with proper technique and form

develop a safe and supportive community of fellow lifters who are interested in mental and physical wellness
practice the foundations of positive psychology and mindfulness training

You Can Get Stronger and Thrive
Freedom barbell plus makes an exercise prescription for healing mental health conditions a reality. This program is a wonderful place for people who want to practice physical as well as mental and spiritual health practices to improve their performance, sense of wellbeing, and happiness.
Additionally, this class is adapted to be the ideal starting place for people who might feel intimidated to begin powerlifting in a regular gym, or those who are returning to the gym after a long period away.
This program is designed to help people completely transform from the inside out. Feeling strong, confident and capable is a pivotal part of healing from anything - including depression, anxiety and more. If you're interested, fill out the form below and we'll contact you so you can learn more.
What Makes it Trauma Informed?
Here are just a few considerations that go into creating a trauma informed weight training program. There's so much more than what goes into this, but this is a short video that gives you a few cool examples.
